In the municipality of Carpignano Salentino, a small village that is part of “Grecìa Salentina” and has very important cultural, folklore, customs and gastronomic traditions and about 13 km from Otranto and the Alimini lakes, we are selling a farmhouse near the sanctuary of the Madonna della Grotta. The structure is made up of several parts: the main body, which can be used both as a private residence but also as a guest area, has a very carefully furnished living area, the rooms have exposed vaults and horizontal roofs, the kitchen has a wooden roof and a large window with views of the garden, both to the west and south, and then continues with a very spacious and airy covered veranda with beautiful stone seats, enriched with a view of the garden in which there are bougainvillea, agave and olive trees,. Then there is the ancient part which is made up of 2 truncated pyramidal pagghiare in one of which there is a wood oven which was used by the community of this village for family purposes, then there is an outbuilding to be renovated with a small vegetable garden and, again in this area, there is another multipurpose room and in the middle of the two paghiare another warehouse room has been created which acts as a garage. the farmhouse is equipped with an artesian well with related drinking water system, heating is via an authorized gas system with LPG tank. The entire terrace can be used for the possible construction of a photovoltaic system.
